The LST-A5R is the heavy-duty member of the range. An 86.1 kWh LFP pack and a 50/100 kW permanent-magnet synchronous motor deliver a WLTC range of 340 km with seating for 16 in a 2 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 4 arrangement. A full-load-bearing body, double-wishbone front suspension and ESC with AUTOHOLD give it the structural stiffness and stability that daily high-occupancy duty demands.

Full-load-bearing body

A separate ladder-type chassis under a load-bearing body gives the A5R the torsional rigidity that 16 passengers plus luggage on poor roads demands — and makes it straightforward to service.

Double-wishbone front end

Independent double-wishbone front suspension keeps wheel geometry stable under load, cutting tyre wear and improving straight-line stability at highway speed.

Highest payload in the range

A 3,450 kg gross weight against a 2,350 kg kerb weight leaves 1,100 kg for passengers, luggage and air conditioning load — headroom that matters in hot climates.

Passenger comfort as standard

Negative-ion air purification, drum heater for the passenger area and a 10.1-inch display are fitted as standard, not sold as extras.
